Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase and Attendance at the Synopsis Summit

This Agreement constitutes a summary of principal terms with respect to the collaboration between the Synopsis Events, LLC (hereinafter referred to as the Contractor) and the registered attendee (hereinafter referred to as the Customer) within the framework of the Synopsis Summit (hereinafter referred to as the Summit).

The Parties hereby agree as follows:

By registering for the Summit and purchasing an electronic ticket (or electronic tickets) the Customer agrees to this Agreement, which forms a legal contract between the Customer and the Contractor.

The Contractor may update this Agreement at any time for legal or regulatory reasons or to reflect changes in services or business practices. Any amended version of this Agreement will be posted on the website of the Summit https://synopsis.events

This Agreement is considered concluded and comes into force for the Parties from the date of payment for services by the Customer.

1. Acceptance of terms and conditions

1.1. The proper acceptance of these terms and conditions is the implementation by the Customer of the following actions:

  • Familiarization with these terms;
  • Filling out data of the Participant on the website for the purchase of an electronic ticket;
  • Payment for a ticket to the Synopsis Summit.

2. Subject of the agreement

2.1. The Contractor undertakes to provide services within the Summit which is held on November 2–3, 2023. Yenibosna Merkez, 1. Asena Sk. No:15, 34295 Bahçelievler/İstanbul, Türkiye.

2.2. Services are provided by the Contractor on a paid basis. The costs of services are determined by the Contractor and published on the website https://synopsis.events

2.3. Services include the provision of electronic tickets to the Customer.

Types of electronic tickets and options included:

2.3.1. «Standard»:

  • Access to the conference hall, the exhibition zone and the speed dating zone (2 days)
  • Welcome bag with promo materials and gifts from sponsors of the Summit
  • Recorded videos of speeches

2.3.2. «Business»:

  • All options of the «Standard» ticket (2.3.1.)
  • Access to the Business hall
  • Access to the AfterParty
  • Memorable NFT from the organizers

2.3.3. «VIP»:

  • All options of the «Business» ticket (2.3.2.)
  • Special zone with the seats in the 1st and the 2nd rows in the conference hall
  • Access to the VIP Lounge
  • Access to the AfterParty
  • Memorable NFT from the organizers

The participant's ticket does not guarantee the availability of free seats in the conference hall.

3. Terms and conditions of service

3.1. The Summit participant can be any person over the age of 6.

Persons aged 6 to 16 are allowed to the Summit in the presence of an accompanying person over the age of 18 and who is a parent or legal representative.

3.2. Participation in the AfterParty is provided to participants aged over 18.

3.3. The Customer must familiarize with the list of services (ticket categories) posted on the Contractor’s website, choosing the type of service (ticket), and purchase an electronic ticket through the widget (Service) posted on the Summit website.

3.4. To purchase an electronic ticket, the Customer fills out the data form through the widget (Service), after which he is given the opportunity to choose a payment method and the Service redirects to the payment system page.

3.5. The Customer pays for the services under this Agreement in the amount established by the Contractor.

3.6. When paying for the services of the Contractor, the Customer gives confirmation of acceptance of the conditions of the Contractor's offer.

3.7. After successful payment, the Customer receives a confirmation (electronic ticket) to the contact email specified during registration on the partner site. An electronic ticket is a guarantee that the Customer is assigned the status of a Summit participant.

4. Payment

4.1. Payment for services provided to the Customer is carried out on the basis of 100% prepayment before the date of the Summit.

4.2. Payment is made by the Customer, using the payment methods proposed by the Contractor.

4.3. All tickets are non-refundable.

5. The Contractor’s obligations:

5.1. To provide services in accordance with this agreement.

5.2. To provide the necessary information to purchase an electronic ticket on the Summit website. Information is available at https://synopsis.events

5.3. To provide consulting support regarding the services and the process of purchasing electronic tickets by phone or email.

5.4. In case of changes in the conditions of the Summit (date, venue), notify the Customer at least 3 (three) days before the start of the Summit. The Contractor notifies the Customer of these changes by posting information on the website https://synopsis.events, and the Customer is obliged to independently familiarize with these changes.

6. The Contractor’s rights:

6.1. At any time, change the cost of services, the date and time of the Summit, as well as other conditions for the Summit and the terms of this Agreement. Notification of changes can be sent to the Customer by sending a corresponding letter to the contact e-mail or by phone call to the contact phone number specified by the Customer.

6.2. Form the Summit agenda and determine the number and list of speakers.

6.3. The Contractor reserves the right to make changes to the Summit agenda, the list of speakers and the AfterParty program. Any changes are not the basis for considering the services rendered poorly or not in the agreed volume and are not the basis for refunding the cost of paid services.

6.4. Unilaterally terminate this Agreement if the Customer fails to fulfill the obligations stipulated in paragraph 6.1 of this offer and does not return to the Customer the paid cost of the services.

6.5. To conduct an inspection of the participants, in order to ensure safety and to eliminate the facts of carrying things specified in paragraph 9.1.

6.6. To refuse admission to the venue of the Summit if the Customer violates the obligations specified in paragraph 9.1 of this Agreement.

6.7. To withdraw products and items prohibited in the territory of the exhibition, conference hall and AfterParty.

7. The Customer’s obligations:

7.1. Get acquainted with the date, time, cost, conditions of the Summit independently and in time.

7.2. Filling out the data form for the purchase of an electronic ticket, fill out the required fields with reliable information.

7.3. Pay for the services of the Contractor in time and in accordance with the terms.

7.4. Follow generally accepted norms of behavior at the Summit, do not create inconvenience to other participants during the exhibition, conference and AfterParty.

7.5. Observe the generally accepted business/smart casual dress code (not allowed: shorts, T-shirts, etc.). The Contractor reserves the right to refuse entry to those deemed inappropriately dressed.

7.6. During the Summit, wear a badge and the lanyard issued by the Contractor on the neck (for VIP tickets - a badge, lanyard and a bracelet). The badge is individual, transferring it to third parties during the Summit is prohibited. If the badge and/or lanyard and/or bracelet is damaged, the Customer shall immediately notify the Summit’s representative at the registration desk. A damaged badge and/or lanyard and/or bracelet will be confiscated, and a duplicate will be issued on its basis (if there are free badges and/or lanyards and/or bracelets). In case of loss, the badge and/or bracelet will not be replaced. Forging of badges and/or bracelets, production, distribution, sale of counterfeit badges and/or bracelets of all kinds is prosecuted under the law.

7.7. It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to take care of visa requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the visa application procedure.

7.8 To observe the generally accepted business/smart casual dress code (not allowed: shorts, T-shirts, etc.). The Contractor reserves the right to refuse entry to those deemed inappropriately dressed.

8. The Customer’s rights:

8.1. Receive services in accordance with the terms.

8.2. Receive the necessary and reliable information about the work of the Contractor and the services provided by him.

9. The Customer is prohibited:

9.1. To bring to the territory of the exhibition, conference hall and AfterParty:

  • alcohol;
  • thrust and cutting objects;
  • narcotics and psychotropic substances;
  • firearms, traumatic, gas and other types of weapons;
  • suitcases and bags, increased backpack size (40*30*20 cm).

9.2. Undertake any trading or advertising activities on the territory of the Summit.

9.3. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes and vapes) inside the venue. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.

9.4. To be in a state of alcoholic, narcotic and other intoxication on the territory of the exhibition, conference and AfterParty.

9.5. Distribute any advertising materials and/or any materials containing defamatory information and harmful to the reputation of the third parties and/or companies.

9.6. Violate norms of behavior in public places.

9.7. To bring animals to the territory of the exhibition, conference hall and AfterParty.

9.8. To bring to the venue or use technically complex equipment: quadcopters, devices with an electric motor, etc.

If the conditions of paragraph 6.3 are violated, the Contractor reserves the right not to allow the Customer to participate in the Summit or to eject the Customer from the venue of the Summit. In this case, the cost of the ticket paid by the Customer is not compensated.

10. Responsibility of the parties

10.1. In cases of non-performance or improper performance of their obligations under the Agreement, the parties are liable in accordance with the legislation of Turkey taking into account the terms of the Agreement.

10.2. The Contractor is not responsible in case of improper provision of the service, if the improper performance was the result of the inaccuracy, insufficiency or lack of timeliness of the information provided by the Customer, as well as other violations of the terms of this Agreement by the Customer.

10.3. The Contractor is not responsible for the discrepancy of the provided service with the expectations of the Customer and/or for his subjective assessment, such discrepancy with expectations and/or negative subjective assessment are not prerequisites to consider the services rendered poorly or not in the agreed scope.

10.4. The customer undertakes responsibility to indicate reliable data while registering on the partner site (Service) when purchasing an electronic ticket.

10.5. The Customer is responsible for damage to the equipment and other property located at the Summit’s venue.

10.6. The Contractor is not responsible for violation of the terms of the offer, if such violation is caused by force majeure circumstances (force majeure), including: actions of state authorities, fire, flood, earthquake, other natural acts, lack of electricity, strikes, civil unrest, disturbances , any other circumstances, not limited to the above, which may affect the performance by the Contractor of the offer.

10.7. The Agreement, its conclusion and execution is regulated in accordance with the current legislation of Turkey.

10.8. According to this Agreement, the use, distribution, copying and/or extraction of any materials or information (including description texts, photographs, video materials, etc.) posted on the Contractor's website is not allowed. The materials posted on the website are protected by the current legislation on copyright and related rights. When resolving all disputes under this Agreement, the current legislation of Turkey shall apply.

10.9. In the case of the Customer’s verbal and/or written statements, that are offensive or harmful to reputation, to the Contractor, its employees, volunteers or other related parties, the Customer shall be immediately removed from the Summit’s venue without the right to a refund of the ticket price.

11. Other terms

11.1. The Contractor reserves the right to amend the terms of the offer. If the Contractor makes changes to the offer, such changes shall enter into force from the moment they are published on the website https://synopsis.events

11.2. The Contractor reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the Agreement at any time both before the Summit date.

11.3. The Customer agrees and acknowledges that changes in the Agreement entails these changes to the contract concluded and effective between the Customer and the Contractor, and these changes to the contract come into force simultaneously with the entry into force of such changes to the offer.

11.4. This Agreement is valid until the parties fulfill all obligations.

11.5. In all other respects, which is not provided for by this Agreement, the parties will be guided by the current legislation of Turkey.

The Customer confirms that all the conditions of this Agreement are clear to him, and he accepts them unconditionally and in full.
